Tenure-Track-Modell
For more than ten years now, W2 professorships advertised by LMU Munich have included a tenure-track option. This enables junior academics to pursue an independent program of teaching and research from an early stage in their careers. Post-holders who have demonstrated outstanding achievement can be appointed to a lifetime professorship after three years at the earliest and six years at the latest.
