Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF)

LMU also has an enviable record of success in competing for resources offered by grant programs administered by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, and has been able to tackle many innovative projects over the years. The University is also actively involved in the new German Health Research Centers, taking on the coordinating role in four of them, and serving as one of the partner institutions in two others.
