Middle East Studies (Munich-Berlin)

This program provides students with broad understanding of political, economic and societal developments in the contemporary Middle East. It is based on an interdisciplinary approach and combines lectures, discussions, and meetings with politicians and practitioners. In addition to the seminars in Munich, the program also includes a research trip to Berlin.

Target Group Advanced students that have an interest in foreign policy, economic and societal developments. In-depth knowledge of Middle Eastern affairs is not required.
Aim of the Course Participants gain a broad understanding of the key political, economic, and societal developments in the contemporary Middle East.
