LMU Munich welcomes its partner, the University of Alberta
A high-profile delegation of senior administrators of the University of Alberta, Edmonton, will spend a week of intensive talks at LMU from 2 – 9 February. Lead by the Provost and Vice-President (Academic), Dr. Carl Amrhein, the UofA representatives will meet with their counterparts at LMU to discuss a wide range of common interests in the field of university administration, e.g. professorial appointments and remuneration. A highlight of the visit is an extensive tour of the HighTechCampusLMU in Martinsried-Grosshadern, where the Canadian guests will get acquainted with the new Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences, which was successful in the first round of Germany's Excellence Initiative competition.
The cooperation between LMU and U of A was launched in 2005 and encompasses all academic disciplines.
