Master’s course to be taught in Spanish

Munich, 07/17/2012

The first non-language program to be taught in Spanish begins at LMU. The program leads to a Master’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health.

In Latin America there is an acute shortage of trained personnel in the area of Occupational Safety and Health. LMU’s new Master’s program is designed to help remedy this situation. It is specifically intended to cater for both German and local professionals who are actively engaged with issues of health and safety in the workplace in Latin American countries.

Most elements of the four-semester program are being made available online. Three of the Program’s units involve classroom instruction, and two of these will be held at locations in Latin America. The course leads to a Master’s degree which qualifies the holder for specialist positions in international firms, government services and NGOs.
