The Impact of Digitization
Every year, the Center for Economic Studies (CES) at LMU confers the title “Distinguished CES Fellow” on an internationally renowned economist, and invites the awardee to give the Munich Lectures in Economics. This series of three lectures is intended to introduce the wider public to a topic of current interest in economic research.
This year’s Distinguished CES Fellow is Prof. Susan Athey, The Economics of Technology Professor at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. Prof. Athey will give the first lecture in her series, Using Big Data and Machine Learning to Understand the Impact of Digitization, on November 14th at 6 PM. The lecture will be made available on Livestream.
