LMU Academic Career Program
15 LMU Research Fellowships to be awarded
The successful LMU Research Fellowship Program enters a new round: excellent postdocs can apply for one of our generously funded fellowships by November 12. A workshop will be held on September 18 for those who are interested in applying.
LMU created the Incoming Research Fellowships in 2009 to give outstanding international postdocs from all fields of research the opportunity to pursue their own research project at LMU and thus sharpen their scientific profile.
Since 2017, LMU has also been offering Outgoing Research Fellowships to excellent postdocs. They are geared towards early-career researchers who have completed their doctorate within the last twelve months or are about to do so and who are planning to undertake an extended research stay at an international academic institution. The program also gives LMU doctorate holders the opportunity to apply for a fellowship.
A workshop for interested applicants will be held at LMU on September 18 to answer all questions regarding the program, the selection procedure and the benefits of a fellowship. For more information, please see the LMU’s Events Calendar. Places are limited, so please register for the workshop. The workshop will be held in English.
The closing date for applications is 12 November 2019 (2:00 p.m. CET). The Fellowships must commence between July and September 2020.
