Looking Alzheimer’s in the eye

Alzheimer’s disease is the most prevalent form of dementia. Patients suffer progressive loss of memory and, ultimately, lose their personality. Early diagnosis is problematic. LMU Professor Jochen Herms hopes to change that – by looking one in the eye. On its multimedia web portal "future now", Deutsche Welle presents a portrait of the neuropathologist.
