Dual Career Service
An increasing number of academics live in dual career partnerships. And yet, when professors are appointed, the professional needs of their partners are often neglected or only hesitantly taken into consideration.
LMU Munich has decided to pay more attention to the partners’ career perspectives. Therefore, a Dual Career Service has been established within the framework of the university’s institutional strategy LMUexcellent. The service will support the partners of newly appointed professors at LMU Munich from Germany and abroad as well as the partners of junior academics from abroad in their search for adequate positions and in the advancement of their careers.
The Dual Career Service is also available to answer questions on issues such as the application process and further education and provides information on social integration in Munich.
Please contact us for a personal consultation, which we are happy to provide. Or complete and return our questionnaire (PDF, ca. 36 KB; Word, ca. 204 KB). We will contact you promptly.
