Finding Job Opportunities on the Non-Academic Job Market
The step from following an academic career to envisioning work outside of academia can be painful. One widespread reason for people’s unease in this situation is their limited knowledge about non-academic jobs which are nonetheless fulfilling. The two questions we will focus on are therefore: What is out there? And how do I find the best match between my skills, my interests and strengths and any organisation’s need?
In this workshop you will:
- find orientation and a place to start
- get hands-on practice in asking the right people the right questions.
