Meteorology (Master)

Degree: Master of Science (M.Sc.)
Description: The four-semester course Master Meteorology is aimed at deepening knowledge in atmospheric physics and the application of its methods. This Master's program is divided into two blocks: In the first and second semesters the Master's students attend courses in the research areas of Meteorology and Atmospheric Physics. The third and fourth semesters are devoted to the one-year master's thesis.

Duration: 4 semesters

Tuition: There are no tuition fees for this course. There is, however, a semester fee of 128 € for each student comprising a student services contribution (62 €) and a basic fee for public transportation (66,50 €).
Admission requirements: Candidates must hold a bachelor or Diplom degree (or equivalent) in physics, astrophysics or meteorology or another mathematical or natural scientific degree. They must also pass a special entrance exam.
