Exchange Students

LMU Munich is home not only to full-time degree students, but also provides an international experience to numerous students from partner universities all over the world.

The majority of incoming exchange students come from other European countries and LMU’s ERASMUS partner universities. Worldwide links are fostered under the LMUexchange program. Two Junior Year Abroad programs for US students and other short-term programs complete the range of incoming exchange programs.

Students from LMU who want to study abroad for a semester or a year will find information here on LMU partner universities around the world.

    LMU Munich welcomes exchange students from partner universities around the world as well as ERASMUS students from European partner universities. It also offers two Junior Year Abroad programs for US students and other short-term programs. more

    LMU Munich has exchange agreements with more than 400 institutions of higher learning in over 50 countries around the world. Students from LMU have numerous exchange opportunities to spend a semester or a year abroad. more
