  • potatoes
  • butter or oil
  • tomatoes
  • ½ tsp. turmeric
  • ½ tsp. garam masala
  • salt and pepper

Peel some small potatoes (two per serving), cut into cubes and sauté with a little butter or oil in a frying pan until tender. Add salt, pepper, chopped tomatoes, ½ tsp. turmeric and ½ tsp. garam masala, and mix well. Serve immediately with Indian naan bread.
