For international students wishing to complete full studies at LMU (degree students), the International Office is the first point of contact for applications, admissions, and enrollment. To ensure that study visits are successful for as many international full-time students as possible, the International Office admissions department offers the following services:

  • Support and advice for foreign prospective students before and during the application stage
  • Certificate inspection, admission, and registration
  • Study guidance and support for desired course changes
  • Campus orientation and information events
  • Help and mediation with authorities

The international admissions department works closely with private associations and initiatives which help foreign students to settle in in Munich and to deal with many everyday issues. These include international student and country groups of active LMU students, and the TutoRIA tutors program, vital for providing personal contact between Germans and students of other nationalities.
