Venice International University: International Workshop on Global Challenges
The Center for NanoScience (CeNS) at LMU Munich and the NCCR Nanoscale Science Basel have invited 40 young researchers from all around the world to Venice on 21 – 24 April for an interdisciplinary workshop. The goal of this meeting is to identify the major global challenges, to discuss where nanosciences can contribute to sustainable solutions and to build an international network of young nanoscientists. The workshop takes place on the island of San Servolo in the Laguna of Venice and is offered within the scope of the Venice International University (VIU), a collaborative project of ten universities. The aim of this international center is joint education and research.
