Humboldt Foundation

Humboldt Fellows at LMU

München, 02/17/2020

In 2019 LMU again welcomed a large number of Humboldt Fellows who chose to work on research projects in collaboration with LMU faculty members. The Fellowship Program sponsored by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation enables highly qualified postdoctoral scholars and scientists from abroad to carry out research projects in Germany. Successful applicants work together with established investigators of their choice. Hence, the number of Humboldt-sponsored scholars hosted by a university is a useful indicator of its international reputation and the range of its network of contacts.
