The President: Season’s Greetings

Ladies and Gentlemen, dear members of LMU Munich,

A year that has demanded a lot from us all is coming to an end. All the more, I would like to thank you very much for your great commitment to LMU. The corona pandemic posed particular challenges for each individual, but also for LMU as a whole. Unfortunately, for the most part, we had to forego the academic life that we had taken for granted. Nevertheless, thanks to the collective effort of academics, students, and employees in all areas, we have succeeded in keeping up with our research and teaching even under these difficult conditions. We can all be proud of our achievement.

Hoping that the situation will soon improve and that we can meet again face to face at our university, I wish you – also on behalf of the entire University Executive Board – all the best for the upcoming holidays, time for relaxation, and, above all, good health.
