For the base:

  • 1/2 l milk
  • 1/4 l water
  • 125 g semolina
  • 7-8 tbsp. sugar

For the glazed raspberry topping:

  • 1/4 l water
  • 250 g raspberries (fresh or frozen) or any other sort or mixture of berries
  • 1 pk. custard powder
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • whipped cream (for decoration)



Put the milk, water and semolina in a saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring all the time. Reduce heat to a minimum, and allow the mixture to simmer (while constantly stirring) until it has the consistency of custard. Pour into a shallow pie dish so that the bottom is evenly covered.

Add water, sugar and raspberries to a large saucepan, bring to the boil with continuous stirring, and simmer for 5 minutes at low heat. Add custard powder and boil until the whole mixture has thickened, then layer it onto the semolina base.

Chill for 2-3 hours before cutting into portions. Serve with whipped cream.
